Q. How do you help entrepreneurs? 

R. We offer entrepreneurs an array of services and business support systems designed to increase the probability of success. These services include:

  • Advice to get a new business started
  • Assistance in preparing a business plan and get external finance 
  • Access to world class expertise in diverse disciplinary areas
  • Expert mentoring from seasoned entrepreneurs and experienced management
  • Operational and strategic consulting tailored to the company's needs
  • Training to improve business and managerial skills of our client entrepreneurs
  • Access to promotional initiatives and networking resources
  • Access to office facilities and equipment otherwise unavailable or unaffordable.

 

Q. I have a good business idea but I do not know how to start. How can you help me?

R. As soon as you join the incubator, we help you to prepare a business plan where your business concept will be developed into an effective business strategy and operational plan.

 

Q. Do you offer office space to your client entrepreneurs? 

R. Yes, we offero to our clients, but they have to share them with other clients. We cannot offer exclusive office space to any of them.

 

Q. Do I have to move into the incubator to get your services?

R. No. We also help businesses which have their own work place and need other types of support. We offer individual services to our clients according to their needs.

 

Q. How much does it cost to use the incubator services?

R. Most of our services are currently offered at no charge. A charge may be levied for a few services.

Q. I have little money for my business and it is not enough. How can you help me?

R. We introduce you to partner financial institutions or business angels which could provide the finance you need. We assist you in the preparation of loan applications or business plan. However, we cannot finance companies ourselves.

 

Q. How long does a company stay in the business incubator?

R. The standard incubation period is one year.

 

Q. What is graduation?

R. Graduation is when a client company has matured to the point that it does not need Incubator assistance regularly and is ready to have its own office facilities.

 

Q. After graduation, can I still use your services?

R. Yes, we offer after-care services such us promotional initiatives and networking. In addition, graduated enterprises may benefit from assistance from the SEBC. 

 

Q. How can I apply for your services?

R. The process officially starts with the completion and submission of the application form which can be found on the Incubator website. If the Incubator management has not already met with the company, a meeting is scheduled. During that meeting, the company is able to share more insights about the business concept and to learn more about the Incubator.

 

Q. Does the business incubator accept companies in any area?

R. No. We work with industrial and service companies. Companies in the agricultural sector are not eligible for assistance. See who can apply page for further information.
